5. Introducing The Bill C-533, an act respecting the genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina

6. Project Fighting against genocide denial

Denial is the eighth stage that always follows genocide. It is among the surest indicators of further genocidal massacres. The perpetrators of genocide dig up the mass graves, burn the bodies, try to cover up the evidence and intimidate the witnesses. They deny that they committed any crimes, and often blame what happened on the victims. They block investigations of the crimes, and continue to govern until driven from power by force, when they flee into exile.

Leaders of the genocide continue to deny the crime unless they are captured and a tribunal (special court) is established to try them.

The best response to denial is punishment by an international tribunal or national courts. There the evidence can be heard, and the perpetrators punished. Tribunals or international courts must be created. They may not prevent the worst genocidal killers, but at least some mass murderers may be brought to justice.

Canada to become the first nation to legally recognize the Bosnian Genocide at Srebrenica by the law, not only by the resolution – motion

7. Darko Trifunovic barred at the Congress of the European Police

Darko Trifunovic’s  invitation to participate at the European Congress of the police was withdrawn and his participation was cancelled. Many other indviduals who continue to deny the aggression and genocide follow in Trifkovic’s footsteps. Darko Trifunovic, a university lecturer for security, continues to promote the story of Islamic terrorism in Bosnia ‘which serves as a basis for his denial of the Judgement at the International Court of Justice. Trifunovic denies ICJ’s verdict on Krstic. He argues that in Srebrenica less than 100 men were executed. The action of CNAB in collaboration with various Muslim organizations in and outside of Bosnia, prevented Darko Trifunovic from attending the European Police Congress in Germany, thus preventing the spread of lies about the war and genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina and against Bosniaks.

8 Srdjan Trifkovic has not been allowed to get into Canada

Mr. Trifkovic is not only a Srebrenica genocide denier; he is also a Serb nationalist. During the 1992 to 1995 aggression he was the unofficial spokesman for Republika Srpska government. He is currently a columnist for several conservative and Serbian nationalist publications in the United States. Majority of his work promotes hate and intolerance between the Serbs, Bosniaks and Croats. Mr. Trifkovic’s ideology not only promotes nationalism to Serbian people, it also supports the idea of human rights abuses and genocide for the love of one’s nation. It is unacceptable to teach young intellectuals such hate and intolerance in a country that promotes tolerance, multiculturalism and peace.

We owe it to the victims of genocide everywhere, not just in Bosnia, to honor them by performing our duties as human beings to disengage from those so called scholars who wish to poison us with conspiracy theories and hateful propaganda. Therefore, we strongly urge you to act responsibly and disallow Mr. Trifkovic from holding a lecture at your university, an institution well known internationally for academic excellence and learning.

II Important scientific and research projects

1.Genocide as the gravest form of crime against humanity and international law is a permanent subject of CIG

Project Genocide in the World

- Project t Genocide in Bosnia and Herzegovina

- Project Genocide in Srebrenica

- Project Genocide in Prijedor

CIG as a scientific institution of merits, which studies crimes of genocide and other grave violations of international law, has also conducted, based on scientific postulates and relevant scientific paradigm, the process of conceptualization and implementation of several scientific projects, whose results were publicized in several studies. These are scientific and operative documents, which start form the modern theoretical and methodological postulates, which articulate problems and subject of research through scientific idea, then objective of research, hypothetical framework, mode of research, and the scientific and social justification of the research. The operative part contains the instruments, plans for sorting and analysis of data, as well as plans of research – deadlines, staff, technical and financial requirements. Already at the stage of design and later at the stage of execution, the projects determine the staffing needs and their profile, their roles and tasks during the research. At the stage of preparation and organization of a research, the pre-testing of project based on source of data is varied out, which during the process of conceptualization should be treated as re-conceptualization aimed at the verification of project, scientific and operative document which guides and directs the process of research.
