Standing on guard for the rights of global citizens
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) is the first museum solely dedicated to the evolution, celebration and future of human rights. It aim is to build not only a national hub for human rights learning and discovery, but a new era of global human rights leadership. The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is proud to announce its official opening ceremonies, taking place Friday, September 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. CDT. The Institute for Research of Genocide, Canada will be at the gala official opening ceremonies.
Breaking the Silence
Words are powerful. When people dare to break the silence about mass atrocities, they promote the human rights of everyone.
This gallery explores the role of secrecy and denial in many atrocities around the world. It includes a focused examination of the Ukrainian Holodomor, the Armenian Genocide, the Holocaust, the Rwandan Genocide and the Srebrenica Genocide in Bosnia. The Institute for Research of Genocide, Canada and the Congress of North American Bosniaks together with the Canadian Bosniak community are grateful for the leadership of CMHR who have adopted a proposal of the Institute for Research of Genocide Canada to set up the permanent museum exhibition about the genocide in Srebrenica.

To ukljuÄuje i fokusirano ispitivanje Ukrajinskog genocida, Armenskog genocida, Holokausta, Ruandskog genocida i SrebreniÄkog genocida.
Institut za istraživanje genocida Kanada i Kongresa Bošnjaka Sjeverne Amerike, zajedno s kanadskom bošnjaÄkom zajednicom su zahvalni rukovodstvo CMHR koji su usvojili prijedlog Instituta za istraživanje genocida Kanada o postavljanju stalne muzejske izložbe o genocidu u Srebrenici.
