Ubistvo više od 8.000 ljudi u genocidu u Srebrenici i neuspjeh meÄ‘unarodne zajednice da interveniše ostaje stalna sramna tragedija čovjeka i civilizacije. Na 23. godišnjicu genocida, naše misli su sa mnogim ženama koje i dalje nose rane svog gubitka, majkama, ženama, sestrama i kćerima. Mi poštujemo i suosječamo njihov bol ne samo sa kontinuiranim radom da se zločinci suoće sa pravdom, već i dajući im nadu u bolju budućnost sa istinom i pravdom.
The killing more than 8,000 people in the Srebrenica genocide and the failure of the international community to intervene remains a shameful tragedy. As we remember on the 23. anniversary of the genocide, our thoughts are with the many women who continue to carry the wounds of their loss, mothers and wives, sisters and daughters. We honour their pain not only by ensuring those who afflict such atrocities will face justice, but by giving hope of a better future.
