Community Achievement award

Community Achievement award

For the first time in our community we’re presenting a Community Achievement award that is given to one male  who has dedicate their time and energy in making our community a stronger and more united one. There are many people in our community who deserve to be awarded today however we have chosen to recognize Emir Ramic for all his hard work in having the Srebrenica Genocide Resolution passed in parliament on October 19th, 2010.

Emir has been working hard on having the Srebrenica resolution passed for the last five years. He is a community leader who has inspired many people, especially a number of our youth (and those young at heart) who are her today to follow in his footsteps. He was the president of CNAB and is the current president of CNAB- Canada Branch.  In January 2009, he established Institute for Research of Genocide- Canada and is the current president.  He is a modest, hardworking individual who truly cares about justice and Human Rights.
