I am currently a member of the Institute for Research of Genocide Canada and the International expert team. I have done many translations and was given the opportunity to participate in a few speeches. The work that I do is for the people of Bosnia, to bring to light the truth about the injustices they continue to face to this day and to hopefully one day, find a truthful and proper representation of the Bosnian war in a Canadian textbook so that my children and grandchildren can be taught the truth and the survivors gain the integrity they deserve. The work that we do is for the future generations of Bosnian Canadian children that will grow up without their homeland but hopefully there will be a place for them in a history textbook so that the Bosnian experience is not forgotten.
