I am writing in support of the Tenure and Promotion application to the position of

Associate Professor for Dr. Haris Alibasic, Assistant Professor at the University of West

Florida’s Department of Administration and Law.

For the past 12 years, as the Director of the Institute for Research of Genocide,

Canada, I had a privilege of working with Dr. Alibasic. Dr. Alibasic’s research and

publications on genocide denial, post-genocide governance, and moral inversion added

a new contribution to the studies of genocide and Holocaust denial and post-genocide

governance.

Since 2009, Dr. Alibasic has been serving as the International Member of the Institute

for Research of Genocide, Canada and made an invaluable contribution to the work of

the Institute and the Bosniak American community, whose members came to Canada

and the USA as a result of genocide and aggression against their homeland, Bosnia

and Herzegovina.

Dr. Alibasic is a dedicated professional, colleague, caring volunteer and I offer my full

support for his application for tenure and promotion position at The University of West

Florida.
