Bosanski Srbi

Bosanski Srbi, u velikom broju, potaknuti velikosrpskom politikom iz Beograda shvatili su da je jedini način da se stvori homogena, kompaktna i politički uvezana teritorija, da se sprovede etničko čišÄ‡enje i genocid, dakle, put zločina kojim se ostvaruje pripremljeni plan. Već početkom devedesetih godina dvadesetog stoljeća, osumnjičeni ratni zločinac R. Mladić znao je da projekt bosanskih Srba može završiti i ostvariti samo genocidom. To nam kazuje da su agresori na Republiku Bosnu i Hercegovinu znali šta će se dogoditi da bi se ostvarilo „šest strateških ciljeva“ velikosrpskog ekspanzionizma. Samo potpunim prihvatanjem onoga što se dogodilo u prošlosti, možemo graditi budućnost istinskog i trajnog pomirenja. Samo kažnjavanjem onih koji su počinili genocid, možemo obezbijediti pravdu da pomognemo porodicama žrtava da zalijeće rane. I samo kada zlo nazovemo pravim imenom možemo smoći snage da ga pobijedimo.

The Bosnian Serbs, most but not all of them, encouraged by the Greater Serbia policy of Belgrade realized that the only way to create a homogeneous, compact, and politically confined territory was to carry out ethnic cleansing and genocide. The path of the crime was realized through careful planning. In the early nineties, Ratko Mladić, the indicted criminal for genocide and war crimes publically admitted that the project of the Bosnian Serbs could be realized and achieved only through genocide. This openly stated admission tells us that the aggressors against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina knew what had to happen in order to achieve the “six strategic objectives” of a Greater Serbia expansionism. It is only in fully accepting the past that we can build a future of true and lasting reconciliation. It is only through the punishing of the perpetrators of genocide that we can provide justice, so that the families of the victims can heal. And it is only in addressing evil by its proper name that we can find the strength to defeat it.
