Congress of Bosniaks of North America - Kongres Bošnjaka Sjeverne Amerike

 The Mayor of Ottawa, Canada declared July 11, 2023 as the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica. This is the first time Canada's capitol paid tribute to the victims of Srebrenica, despite extensive efforts and campaigns on the part of locally organized genocide deniers to stop the issuance of the proclamation. 

This proclamation is another call to Ambassador Marko Milisav, to lower the flag at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Canada to half-mast on July 11th. 

We are grateful to Mayor Mark Sutcliffe for standing on the right side of history and the Institute For Research Of Genocide Canada (IGC) for all their efforts and their continued fight to ensure the victims are honored and never forgotten.
