Letter of Appreciation 

Dear Miss  Silverstein, 

The news about the Resolution on Srebrenica Genocide which was adopted on July 19, 2023 by the City Council of Greater Chicago upon your presentation has been received by the Bosnian victims of Genocide and the all-good people of Bosnia by an utmost gratitude and appreciation. 

Grasping their relief from afflicted genocidal pain by the move of your good-self that is heart touching, I would like to express, as a former Chicagoan Imam at Northbrook, 1810 Pfingston Rd, from 1981-1986 as well as Ph.D. herder of the University of Chicago 1986, my sincere letter of appreciation to you and the whole City Council of Chicago.  

This letter is on behalf of all my Bosnian people who consider the City of Greater Chicago as their second home in sickness and in health, until death do them part as well. 

Once again America has demonstrated that her might is good heart and the sense of truth, justice, peace and reconciliation with all peoples and nations of good will in the world.  

Thus, America and Bosnia will stand together united under One God for the good of One Humanity which is blessed by God Almighty who is Merciful and Compassionate to all faithful people of good heart and sound mind.
