Zadovoljstvo mi je u ime kolega iz Gradskog vije?a uputiti sve najbolje želje i ?estitke povodom obilježavanja Dana nezavisnosti BiH koji se obilježava u petak, 1. marta 2024.
Ove godine se navršavaju 32 godine nezavisnosti, od 1. marta 1992. godine, prelomnog historijskog trenutka za savremenu Bosnu i Hercegovinu.
Želim da se zahvalim bosanskoj zajednici Fredericton za unapre?enje naše zajednice.

Dok ljudi širom mnogih zemalja slave Dan nezavisnosti Bosne i Hercegovine, zadovoljstvo mi je, kao gradona?elniku grada St. John'sa, pokrajine Newfoundland i Labrador, da pozdravim bosanski narod naše pokrajine.
?estitamo Bosni i Hercegovini što je 1. marta 1992. godine postala 177. ?lanica UN-a, izborila slobodu na referendumu o nezavisnosti ubjedljivo narodnim glasanjem.
Hrabrost, izdržljivost i snaga vaše zajednice prikazani su odlu?noš?u da se prevladaju opresivne i politi?ke poteško?e.
Zahvaljujemo vam na vašem vrijednom radu u nastavku podsticanja mirnog mjesta za vašu rodnu zemlju, sjajnog primjera svijetu i njenog doprinosa kanadskom društvu u cjelini.

U ime cijele zajednice Charlottetown upu?ujem srda?ne ?estitke svim našim stanovnicima Bosne i Hercegovine na proslavi Dana nezavisnosti Bosne i Hercegovine koji datira od 1. marta 1992. godine.
Ovaj dan ima veliki zna?aj, obilježavaju?i suverenitet i jedinstvo vaše domovine. Trenutak je za razmišljanje o borbama i žrtvama za postizanje nezavisnosti i napretku koji je od tada postignut. Otpornost i duh bosanskog naroda služe kao inspiracija svima nama.
Ovdje u Charlottetownu, ponosni smo što imamo tako živu i raznoliku bosansku zajednicu koja oboga?uje našu kulturnu tapiseriju. Vaši doprinosi u razli?itim sferama – bilo da se radi o poslu, umjetnosti, akademiji ili društvenom radu – su neprocjenjivi, podsti?u?i razumijevanje i saradnju me?u svim stanovnicima.
Dok obilježavamo ovaj važan dan, potvrdimo našu posve?enost razli?itosti, jednakosti i me?usobnom poštovanju. Nastavimo zajedno raditi na izgradnji budu?nosti u kojoj svaki pojedinac može napredovati, bez obzira na porijeklo.
Ovom radosnom prilikom želim Vama i Vašim najmilijima sre?u, blagostanje i mir. Neka veze prijateljstva i solidarnosti unutar naše zajednice i dalje ja?aju.

Bosanska zajednica je odigrala vitalnu ulogu u oblikovanju našeg grada, doprinose?i tako kulturnom mozaiku koji Kanadu ?ine tako izvanrednim mjestom za život. Životni putevi bosanskih ljudi, obilježeni otpornoš?u i snagom, izvor je inspiracije za sve nas.
