Thanks Irfan Mirza for the kind words about my book. Thank you for your fight for a better Bosnia. We appreciate it very much.
?itam novu knjigu autora doktora Emira Rami?a, "Knjiga Pam?enja i Opomene".
Morning coffee and a poolside read—since the Labor Day weekend, I read and re-read a newly released book by Dr. Emir Rami?, entitled "Knjiga Pam?enja I Opomene." In under 250 pages, Dr. Rami? provides examples of the nature of discourse about the Bosnian genocide and leaves readers with an eye-opening caution that the path to the future for Bosnia and its neighbors is best forged through a culture of remembering the genocide and refuting its denial. In the Bosnian language, this book should be read by all Bosnians, Serbs, Montenegrins, and Croats. The English edition is slated to be released as well, and that will allow us all to share the vital message of this book with the rest of the world. The painstaking detail that Dr. Rami? has put into this compendium is apparent . His references are stark, vivid, and exemplary reminders of something Albert Einstein said, “The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.” Collectively remembering and learning from the past is one of the ways that we ensure we are not among those who “do nothing. “ Thank you Dr. Rami? for reminding us and giving us the opportunity to be better citizens and stewards of truth and justice today than we were yesterday.
